We had a great meeting tonight! We had 6 new kids come to our meeting from Pettisville. We finalized some old business. We had 13 kids sign up to help out with the benefit for Tiffany Bates this coming Saturday, March 6, 2010 at 6pm at St. Casper's Church in Wauseon. Our chapter will be there helping set up, serve food and with clean up. We will also provide a clown, face painting and activities for the children. We will be donating baked goods for desserts. Our chapter has gathered food baskets and a diaper cake to donate to their auction.
We had 11 kids sign up to help out Centennial Therapeutic Riding Center, located at 17185 Co. Rd F just west of Wauseon. On Saturday March 13 immediately following our meeting and potluck luncheon, those who volunteered will be heading over to the riding center to help rake their indoor arena, clean stalls, feed and water the horses and help groom them as well. Centennial Therapeutic Riding Center provides recreational and therapeutic horseback riding to individuals with physical, mental or emotional needs. (((Remember kids...Dress Warm!!!!)))
We have been invited to speak on behalf of our chapter at two events. The first will be during the Fulton Co. Humane Society meeting on Wed. March 10th and the second is at a 4H meeting on Sun. March 14th!! Woo Hoo! Great job guys! Keep spreading the word!
